An Earthly Perspective

I was just cruising around in blogsphere this morning and I ran across this. I found is uniformly fascinating, unsettling, and sobering. My thanks to Pepe and the others before her, for posting this.

I've seen it a couple of times, as well as another one. I'll forward it next time I get it. Those figures appalling when you think this is 2006 and we're sending astronauts to the moon! Although we're not velcroed together, I use my computer often. You can get news in Swahili, Arabic and all sorts of languages from their source countries. So, who's not passing the goodies along?

So interesting. Thanks for that link. We seem to be so insulated here in the US, and we tend to take too much for granted. Maybe this will help open some eyes.

Huh? Ireland?

Wull...i was looking at my sitemeter and it said scenes from a slow moving train from IRELAND and from FLORIDa...but if you;re NOT there (and I didn't see how you could be in both places at once -plus Turlock) so I finally figured out that folks FROM those places came through your site to mine. I guess. I'm not very smart about these things.... :(

Well, that explains it. I'm clueless about sitemeter so you are ahead of me. LOL Still wish I was in Ireland.
