Sunday Scribble #9 - First Love

Yesterday I had a completely different idea of what I would be writing here but it all changed this morning. This morning I awoke to a note at my bedside left by my daughter and the contents broke my heart. I realized that the only way to cope with the contents of the note was to turn to my First Love - GOD.

He is the most precious love that we have...

We break His heart every day and he continues to love us with more love than we can even comprehend.

My prayers are with you.

Thanks for the visit to my site, come back soon.

Yes, we do break HIS heart everyday and He waits patiently for our return. There is no truer love. Thanks for the reminder.

The one who made your heart desires to heal your broken heart.

Heal. God will honor your new focus on Him and give you your hearts' desire. Put HIM first in everything.

He is Faithful.

It is so reassuring to know that we can always turn to a higher power that is our true and unfailing first love.

Thank you for sharing this.

The pain is so bad when these things happen. I don't think I have the right words to do that. I just wish I could hold you. I'll be home tonight and shall call.

Don't know what this is about but wishing you strength and peace of mind soon. Things will turn out okay.

Annie, I now understand your desperation. Please, trust me. It'll all come out ok; probably better than you ever expected. I'm glad you picked when I called.

My daughter is now 23 but I vividly recall that feeling several times when she was an adolescent. Your daughter will come around...it may take a litle time but remember the promise about..."train up a child..."
