This is a wonderful list and I'm happy to say I've read many of them. My favourite female author is Isabel Allende and I'd highly recommend any and all of her books (I have them all, that's how much of a fan I am) and Amy Tan as well. I started working on a book meme a while ago, but felt overwhelmed by trying to narrow the books I love down to one list!
My what a lists of books,,I do Love to read too,,but art and gardening are my loves right now. I have read many of the same books that you have. I found a little publication that I just love. Its called "Green Prints",,just a wonderful collection of short storys, poems, and illustrations,,and of course all about gardening and nature. I live for when those little books come to my house,,
Have a great week-end Annie!
