One Deep Breath - Feathered Friends

Small, shy, appealing
Inconspicuous but brave
Heart tugged. Love blooms

oh Annie this is gorgeous! I can just see it as a piece of 'art' - a birdie collage with the words written somewhere. I love your haiku - it touches a spot xo

Beautiful, Annie. Is this a plover?

BTW, the little train was in Fort Worth, Texas, not Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Love ya, girl!

Sioux - yes, this is a snowy plover. I fell in love with these little birds while in Oregon.

Fort Worth vs. Fort Wayne

I adore plovers. We have a type which inhabits the shores of high mountain lakes in the summer. You've captured it so well in your poem.
