My found birdsnest is a work in progress. I have one more egg (which, unfortunately, has gone missing) to add to the nest. Once that is completed, it won't be Tea for Two anymore; it will be more like Tea for Me and Thee. The dome I planned to use as a cover does not fit right so I'm now looking around for a new glass cover.

Charming.
Will you use it for decorating?
Isn't it fun to have a hands on project??? to let your mind rest and your hands take over, this is one of my favorite things! A lovely piece AnnieElf...
Oh migosh, I missed your poem yesterday. I like it and haven't read the rest of the comments.
I'm so glad you have the nest and I don't. I'm an old farm girl and immediately get that itchy crawly feeling around bird nests. It will be fun when you have it the way you want it.
I think I lost my previous comment. If I am repeating myself please forgive me.
Are those real eggs? They are the exact color. Picturing eggs and nest under a dome: Perfect. Have you tried glass cloches from the garden shops?

I love this! you need a wee faery or a little birdie to put in...
The exact color of what, you were thinking when you read my comment above. Duh! I meant to say, the exact color of robin's eggs! Sorry.

This is lovely Annie. I love the mixture of textures.
Hello Annie,
I love everything about nest and what they symbolize. Every once in a while
my husband will bring one home from out in the fields where he's working.
He knows how much I love them and I think is so romantic of him to remember me. I have a collection of them.
you are doing great!
