In Memorium - 1980 - 2007

George was full of life. I knew him so little but so completely. I love Erin, my daughter-in-law, dearly and by extention, her wonderful family. It wasn't hard to quickly come to love and care about all of them.

Revelation 14:13

I, John, heard a voice from heaven say:"Write this: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on." "Yes," said the Spirit. "let them find rest from their labors, for their works accompany them."

The Word of the Lord.

Annie,
I'm struggling for words. This just brings back so much from how fast my Mom's brain cancer progressed. My thoughts and prayers are with all of who loved him.

What a loss. And what a moment for me not to know what to say to you!

You're all in my thoughts. May God hold you up.

Annie, I'll be thinking of all of you, especially Quanah and Erin during this very sad time. These kinds of events are always a reminder to me that I should cherish each day that I have on this earth and that none of us know when our time will come. God bless and I will see you soon....Elaine

A NOTE FROM A FRIEND: Thank you for your kind thoughts, Laur.

I am so sorry to hear about George. I will keep him in my prayers. Please send my sincerest sympathy to Erin and her family. Anne, I have to say, your son made one of the most unselfish and loving sacrifices I have ever heard of to support Erin and her family. This is the definition of love and nothing but good will come from this sadness. Of this I am certain

Awwww Annie, I'm really sorry about George. I'm thinking of y'all. Try to think of it as a next step for George. The next step in his great journey, it's hardest that grief is for the living.

Dear Annie,

Such a sad thing, coming so soon after such a happy event as their wedding. We do have to wonder at God's plan sometimes. I am reminded of my brother John, who died at Christmas time almost 30 years ago at age 25. He had so much life to live, and I, what have I done in the ensuing 30 years?

It is not ours to wonder why. I am glad you have your faith to strengthen you, and I am thinking of you at this time, dear friend.
