Crossing the Road

Today is Reading Day. The last day of classes was yesterday and finals start tomorrow. Driving into the parking lot this morning was a quiet experience. No cars! But there sure were plenty of road hazzards. Check out the locals and warm wishes for a wonderful day to all of you.

We are near a reservior and we have geese flocking and flying and honking many times a day. They always delight me as they waddle about not caring how their butts wobble. To be so real is my goal.

I love geese. We are in a flight path of several groups that frequent our city. I just love to look up and listen to them. They are beautiful creatures to watch.

Geese YOU! Annie! LOL What in the world??? How many is there??? Are they having a reunion??? That picture of the couple kissing was my mom and dad! Thursday, I got the sugar cubes, my neighbor passed away Friday and my mom and dad's 60th Anniversary was the next day, Saturday and I was determined to really savor them after the shock of my neighbor dying! I think I wanted to get the message out how things can change soOOOOoOoo fast! I was really excitied to start a new project of a glittery house but then the next day, it wasn't a day for glitter!!!

Hi Annie - Canadian Geese? Some of them have been tagged too wouldn't you like to know where they have been and where they might be on their way too - or have they reached their destination? Are they "talkative" when on the ground - I used to hear them fly overhead when living in the UK and calling to one another - probably giving flight directions *!*

Cool. I would be chasing those ducks across the road going, "Shoo Shoo," just to watch them waddle faster like the curious almost pompous creatures they are. Cool.

I love them..are they ducks or geese? We have wood ducks here and I love it when they have their babies walking all in a row.

Oh I love geese, we were at a nature reserve near Manchester recently and there were lots of Canada geese, just like those in your photos.
