Books, Books, and more Books

I'm reading Becoming Jane Austen and The Thirteenth Tale. I'm so completely in love with both of these books that I can't not read them separately. So - I assigned reading time for each.
Jane is evening reading. Thirteenth is daytime reading. Someone told me today that John F. Kennedy did the same thing. He was a smart man. I guess that says something about me. . .or, NOT.

When I goof, I REALLY goof. There were multiple comments from one reader. When I went to clear them out and keep just one, I ended up clicking ALL the comments, including those from others. They are all gone. Darn.

I usually have more than one book going at the same time, too. So many books, so little time!

Who only reads one book at a time? I could never do that. I've gotten the movie of Becoming Jane and love it. In fact I'm re-reading North Hanger Abbey right now, along with my Racheal Ray Magazine that just came, plus a bok on the brain and how it works, plus one on women and the Bible.

I'm going to take an online course in HTML through my city gov. as I'm getting very tired of making mistakes like you mention in your comment. Aren't we a pair!?

Hi Annie: Lately I've only had time to read my Bible Study Books. Doing two Bible Studies and trying to pack, etc, etc. for the move leaves little time for "MY" reading. Hopefully after I get moved into our new home I can carve out time for ME and BOOKS! I won't be involved with the two Bible studies -- so we'll see!! Thanks for you tips on good books to read.

I have the Thirteenth Tale but haven't started it. Is it good?

Hmm - daytime reading and evening reading, eh? My eyes are getting so bad that I really can only see the print in the daytime, unless I sit under really powerful lamps. So I guess everything for me will be daytime reading soon. I have already chosen "The Thirteenth Tale" for when I host book club in November.

Even when you goof, I think you are indeed one smart woman!!! I LOVE Jane Austin, ever since highschool and pride and prejudice. Emma is on Masterpiece Sunday evening... there has been a whole series of Jane's stories... hope you can catch it! XO

I just watche "Becoming Jane" a few week-ends ago. It was ok but I think the book is much better. Love Jane Austen, she was such a courageous Woman. And a brilliant witer!
