Doorways Around the World

Today is Doorways Around the World Day. This doorway superstructure is a work in progress of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Modesto, California. By this time next year, the building will be complete and we will be celebrating our first Easter Sunday Mass within. For other doorways around the world, please click HERE of HERE or HERE.

I loved going and seeing the other doors. What a great idea! Having a day for posting doors. That was great fun! Who knew I loved seeing architecture so much. Not me. I'm learning, just slowly.

Wonderful! These doors are so uplifting: so many possibilities, so many opportunities. I'm loving these doorways into other people's worlds.

I like this door in progress...also that the architecture seems to be following a more traditional line....and I can imagine some beautiful stained glass in that circle above the door! Lots of promise here...not to mention the joy you will have to be celebrating Eater Sunday Mass within next year.

I love how this structure looks now! Interesting to see the 'bones'.

Now this is an interesting door, and as Sara says, in progress.
I guess you associated my telephone box with Dr. Who - interesting as that has never crossed my mind.

I LOVE seeing the bones of buildings... it will be wonderful when you next post it finished... stepping through the door into sacred geometry to experience the divine is very special...

Great door. Looks quite modeern. I am used to very old catholic churches in Holland. Her there are more modern ones as well.

I love listening to the music on your blog as I look at these fantastic, fanciful doors. Thank you for sharing.
