I'm thinking of taking a rest from blogging. I love it here but I'm feeling very unproductive. My friend Biene says I'm resting. There is so much on my mind that I need to think about that I'm going to just kick back for a while. I actually have lots I would like to do, including a challenge meme from Mary at Beadfluff . I won't be entirely away though. I will continue to keep up reading and staying in touch. I would miss everyone terribly if I just fell off the edge of the earth. I just don't have anything in me right now to share so I'm going to slip away from a while.

******************
Follow-up - later, after posting the above, I had a sort of epiphany. The reason for resting is really for regrouping and refocusing. I will probably still be posting here occasionally but I'll be spending most of my time at my In My Dreams blog. If my purpose for the next couple of years is to prepare for a reshaped reality, then I need to start acting like I am truly seeing myself so I can make my dreams come true.

Hi Annie

My name is Carly. Nice to meet you. I am a first time visitor to your blog, and it seems as if I have caught you, just as you are taking a break from blogging. I want to tell you, how much I have enjoyed my visit here, and to invite you to my blog. Also, I am one of the founders of the Round Robin Photo Challenges. I want to invite you to join us for a challenge, when you resume blogging again. I can see from your blog that you are a shutterbug like me. :) If you are interested, just follow the link below, and if you have any questions feel free to drop me an email. :) Take good care, and enjoy your time off.

All my best, Carly

I completely understand about not blogging to regain your spirit, sanity, perspective-- whatever. I enjoy the blogging community, but have benefitted from not being part of it this last half a year. Weird, huh?

Rest if you must, but you MUST continue to share your world through your photographs. I love the way in which you capture your subject matter!

Well, Duh, Annie elf! Of course you need time to pause and do exactly that. Take the time you need, but just think how the meme will help you solidify what you've learned. No you aren't off the hook.

I've done just that, as you know, and it has brought me back full circle. I am blessed with my blogging friends and I found I really need and miss the connection, so I am reconnecting. We all have to pause, pray, evaluate, regroup.

BTW, to your response to your statements...God will make His will clear, and I am certain. Sometimes it's hard to hear Him. You are both in my prayers.

Love...

Hi, Annie,

I totally understand your feelings. I too feel as if I have nothing to say, once I got that big weight off my chest in my latest post. The trouble is, when you don't blog then people start worrying about you, so I guess I will re-appear soon.

There are so many different types of bloggers and I sometimes wonder if I shouldn't change my style. But then...could I?

Take all the time you need. I will stop by on occasion and visit your other blog.

P. S. I really like the new banner. Is that your collection? If so, I love it!

Hugs, Julie

Thank you for commenting on my blog, I know I am just experiencing things all mums have to, it is nice to be able to have a little winge to other mums. Sometimes I just don't blog for a week because I have no urge to write or make things. I realize these times of doing nothing are natural breaks in my creative process and I always come back with loads of ideas competing to be done first :-) Juliet
