Today Kris picked up Don and they resurrected a tradition from her childhood - sharing a banana split together.
I ensured that there would be a photo memory by reminding Kris to take a picture of the sweet treat and a picture of her and daddy. What she brought home to me was evidence of her forgetting. The one picture she took was the empty dish. Oh well.
I gave her the eye. You know the one. The one that says "really?". "Really!!?" Her excuse? Daddy was talking the whole time. Okay, as Don would say - any excuse is better than no excuse at all.
At home, Don spot-treated his shirt with stain remover (chocolate ice cream) and changed. He licked his lips, happily enjoy some remains and settle down on the loveseat resting his hand on his very satisfied tummy. Hmmmm, good.

I'm sure banana splits and chocolate icecream would be what the men in our family would enjoy for Fathers Day too, which is held in September in Australia.
Happy Father's Day to Don!x
Well, I think I like this different picture better than a banana split, anyway!
Sharing a banana split is such a double sweet thing to do.
Serina and I used to do that when she was a preschool girl. Today I'm expecting her home from Ireland, but tomorrow I'll treat her with the old shared café dish, maybe combined with a double espresso. P.S.I really like the way you've made the photo work. Lots of nice color combinations and textures.
You forgot to say that the shirt was white and to post Krista's one and only photo. :)
Oops. :-)
I have been cautioned often by Rick and others to see and live the world, not just photograph it. I have a feeling Kris has a magnificent photograph of the heart -- and so does Don!
