NEWS! Huge NEWS!!!!

This news, coming on the heels of Krista's engagement - well, it doesn't get much better.  Quanah and Erin are one of two couples who are still being considered for adopting Elisa's baby.  Many of you know Elisa's story now and the legal fight her family won to save her baby from a state mandated abortion.  (Yes, it DOES happen).  More details as they come.

PLEASE. PRAYERS. PRAYERS. PRAYERS.

I'm loving 2013.  I'm going to be a mother of the bride and possibly a grandma.  Life doesn't get much better.

Here is what I know so far:

1.  There is one other couple interested in adopting who live in Arizona;

2.  The baby is a complete healthy little girl;

3.  The family is requesting an open adoption;

4.  Open adoption is not a problem with Q and Erin.  It will involved letters, pictures, and a visit whenever they come west which most likely will be at least once a year.

5.  Erin and Quanah have chosen a name already.  She will be named Gianna Nicole (names for St. Gianna Baretta and St. Nicholas).

6. No question about it that Don and I will be going to Reno for the birth if Erin and Quanah are blessed to be the parents of this child.

Life is Good.  No doubt about it.

I bend my knees and pray that God's will must be done here and that the baby may come to your family.
You'll be a swell grandmother.
I have a book in which i write down important prayer issues. I'll write down Erin, Quanah and baby Gianna Nichole now.

I saw this on FB and it made me so very happy. I know -- it's not a done deal, but it's a lot closer than it was. I love the name they have chosen. It's beautiful. But then, so are they. My fingers are crossed and my prayers are with Quanah and Erin and you and Don. Many joyful hugs.
