Cuppa coffee, Joe.
Pour it straight, black, strong and hot
Good book on the side.
Seriously. The universe is sending me a message. I've stumbled across another Little Free Library. If you haven't seen the first one, click the link at the red "another" and scroll down to part four of the post.
This one was at Cuppa Coffee and More in Placerville. Mix one part of one bookshelf with books. Register little shelf as a free library. Get a sign announcing your free book exchange. Voila! A Little Free Library.
I've known about Little Free Library for two years. I've now seen two in two weeks in two different places. Yes, the university is sending me and my boatload of books a message. I need to make a plan. Stay tuned.

Interesting, wonder if there are any around here. You would NOT believe the horror stories about our Nazi Library.
I'm going to be on the lookout for little libraries. I will put a couple of books in the car for exchange just in case.

The Free Little Library looks like a great idea. I love your haiku, it does seem that coffee and books go together!
I love when the universe conspires to make us aware of certain things!
Books and joe - sounds like a really great conspiracy!
I saw the first time you posted about the Little Free Library. It is a great project. I know of several coffee shops and used bookstore combinations. The books are not free, but exchanges, books for books with a small charge to keep things going is customary.
At The Black Cat, in Truth or Consequences, New Mexico, a place I have lived for a spell for many winters, one can sit and read any book on the shelf while drinking coffee or tea in the always shining New Mexican sun.
I like that coffee is Joe. That's my name too. I like the association with a good cup of Java.
Your haiku brings forth memories and allows me to daydream while snow is falling here in Wisconsin. No trip this winter, but spring will see me on the road once again.
Peace
Delightful haiku ~ universe is sending you gifts ^_^
Oh this is heaven a cuppa and free books!!:)
I love the idea of these little libraries. I'm thinking of starting something like this.
First Annie, I love you haiku,
it sounds like a song...
and the free library is an incredible idea...you have my wheels turning. ♥♥
Swap coffee for tea and that's my idea of paradise, too. Nice one.
Wonderful haiki. Great idea about a free library. We have only used book stores here, and one Barnes and Noble $$$$$ :(
Wonderful! Boulder had a call to artists for a similar 'little library' type installation. These little libraries will be installed all over the city.
brilliant idea!!
p.s.
wouldn't it be funny, or creepy, to see YOUR mailbox/numbers on the word verification one day.
I am with you, I like my coffee hot and enjoy a good book.
I think I need to find a little free library and make a rather generous donation so it will be a little big free library! I'd love to see the books go to good.
coffee...yum and a book? double delight! funny, I have a tin of tea called CUPPA!
I haven't exactly look for free book libraries like you've shown, but I'm always on the look-out for books. so I'm thinking I would have to start one, for there to be one locally. But living in a mobile park, there are pages and pages of restrictions.
BTw, if I can't get the capcha right, I'm sorry, but I wont' try again. too frustrating.
