After laying off of the my blog for a week, I'm finally getting around to the fun stuff on my To Do List. First up is painting this blah wooden shelf a pretty blue. I'm using Annie Sloan Chalk Paint. After painting, I'll rough it up a little and then transfer some pretty script to the top and/or sides.
Now I'm making like a turtle and drawing back into my shell.

I'll be interested in seeing your finished project. I am getting a bookcase replacement and I think the old one will get a paint job as it moves to the bedroom! tis the season to paint!
