Beautiful, heart-felt haiku, Annie and I love your photo collage. Is that you in the photos?
Once upon a time, that was sort of me but with darker hair. This young lady is my beautiful daughter.
So very true!!! Puppies can heal and become a source of consolation as you both grow together! Lovely tender haiku! Cathy

love the 'puppy healed' ~ loving haiku and beautiful photos ~thanks, namaste, ^_^
Dogs do that, they fill a space that no other can, until I had my boys I did not realise about the silent connection.
Lovely words and image. x
Hi Annie! ...Love bloomed among the graves...
It reminds me of that line from Steel Magnolias "Laughter through tears is my favorite emotion."
Great, great photos. And, I am enjoying the background music. Just right. Not over-powering. Thanks for a great post :)
Pets often heal just by their presence. Your daughter is beautiful.
Animals ARE magical healers, aren't they? Just another of life's many gifts. ♥♥♥
That is so sweet!
I am so in tune w/ you right now...within 10 years, my mom, dad, and only sibling died, and my dog Guy fills some of this void and comforts me...thanx
i agree, our four legged family offer their unconditional love and that does heal. my little reggie gives me so much pleasure.
Pets are heart savers.
Beautiful and brings back memories.
Some of the best stories in the world begin with those old, familiar words "Once upon a time."
