Blackbird Haiku

Some of my best observations seem to happen at stoplights. This morning I saw

Blackbird picking at
grass. A nut too hard to break.
Blackbird flies away.

I know what you mean about stop lights. I see so many things I would love to capture in a photo as I drive.

You've turned the moment into a haiku with a wink.

What a cool pic and haiku. I have always loved the Blackbird song by the Beetles. Hope you have a lovely week-end Annie!

great photo/haiku Annie. We get them come round our lawn and the other day the same thing happened, one had a big something it was lugging about. Sadly upon getting the camera out...it was gone.
XOXO

Once when I was at a stoplight, I saw a guy get out of his car and tap on the window of another man's car. The man opened his window and the guy standing there car punched him. The puncher walked away; the man that got punched closed his window. The light changed and we were all on our merry way...

Now that is some story, sombra. Stoplights can be so interesting. I've already got two mini-tales posted. I think I will be watching for more.
