Fog

Winter is the time when fog grips our area. When the fog arrives, our world remains in an overcast haze for weeks. Mornings are dangerous depending on the fog's density. These pictures are from yesterday around 7:30 a.m. This mornings's fog was even more dense. I drove away thinking I should change my route to work so I would cross traffic at lighted intersections. Of course, thoughts and actions often don't line up and today was no different, so this morning I was nearly hit by a car coming out of the fog. The driver had not turned on his headlights. Such a simple thing that could have had such terrible consequences. Tomorrow I will reroute myself.

We get the dense fog as well. It's beautiful, but scary to drive in.
Looks like we might get some rain by tonight though..
Lovely pictures

The fog makes for beautiful pictures, but I don't envy your drive to work each day. Better safe than sorry--change that route!

Oh, the fog is beautiful...probably because we seldom have it here. Too hot and dry. I know it is hazardous, so do be careful, but thank you so much for sharing the photos.

The photos are great! I've always loved the fog. It seems so mystical and magical, and it seems to wrap its arms around me like an embrace....but it can be very dangerous, too. So do be careful....and change your route so you don't have another near accident!

Beautiful photographs of the fog Annie, it looks so eerie! I had a good chuckle at the two different styles on the posting further back about book shopping day.

Yes, we have been pretty socked in huh Annie. And now it is raining, but theoretically we are going to get an actual 4 days of sun starting tomorrow. I sure hope so.

I love fog! we get very heavy fog here in winter and summer ~ kind of like a pea soup fog - I love to walk in it but I agree, it is quite hairy when you have to drive. stay safe sweet annie xo
