Sunday Scribbles - I Have An Idea

This topic is such excellent timing and allows me to once again send out the message of a request for wool good to send to Afghanistan children. I got the idea after reading Frida's account of her visit to an orphanage in Ghor.

Another idea I had this week was to keep a daily account of at least one thing that made me happy each day. At the end of the week I'll post the Good Things Report. The idea is to remind myself of the good things that happen on a daily basis and not get caught up in negative thoughts.

Short and sweet this week but Big Ideas. I'll see what else the week brings and perhaps add to this.

I like this idea very much Annie. A Good Things report. Pushing away the negative thoughts and feelings frees a person up to really enjoy all the great things that are waiting to be grabbed up!

Have a BEAUTIFUL day my friend!

I love the idea of The Good News Report. I just signed up to a new weekly blog project called Friday Felicitations. It's amazing to me just how difficult it is to make a list of things that make me happy or proud of myself.

Best of luck and I look forward to reading your weekly reports!

I like the idea of the Good News Report. I've been trying to think of 3 good things that happened each day. I've been doing it for the past few weeks, usually while I'm trying to go to sleep I try to think of things. sometimes I forget and then try to think of 3 good things I'm looking forward to in the day. My husband even challenged the people who work for him to do the same. It's a great excercise in having a more positive outlook.

Both are wonderful ideas, Annie! I definitely plan to contribute some woolen goods. The thought of those cold little feet are just haunting me. It's the details in accounts like this that make them real, in a way a news story doesn't. Great plan to gather stuff up! And the other idea is a lovely one too!

Hello lovely Annie,

I love your "good things" idea, and look forward to reading.

My fingers are stiff from the cold today and I know that my room is tropical compared to the orphanage. Your efforts are very, very good thing.

Thank you for your prayers, too. I'm looking forward to the onwards and upwards from here on in.
