one thing. The students were hard at work on our new library system and the shipping boxes were empty. This meant play time. Is this a cool box fort of what? Of course, I had to get into the act. From left to right that's Nick, moi, Carmen, Kathy, and Adam. Kiani is on the other side of the camera. She's looking all FIERCE in the second picture. You GO K.

Well that will keep them busy for a while! lol I had to giggle because the pictures reminded me of when my boys were little and loved to play with big boxes like that!! xo
That's how I hoped people would react, Pea. We probably all have memories of making box forts. It was/is so much fun. I was immediately all little girl again for a few moments.
So cool, Annie. As kids, we could have more fun with a cardboard box than with all the toys that could fit inside. It's good to incorporate laughter into each day; I'm glad you got your dose today. :D
yes....i was there, i witnessed it...quite impressive fort.
one more reason to enjoy the department....our creative minds! :)
I want one of my own! This looks like fun!
I put a "sheeps find" on my blog for you and Roadchick.
I Love box forts! They looked like they were having a blast!
I love the box thing. Do we ever outgrow the excitment of a big empty box to play with? Ah I hope and pray not. So many possiblities...
Great photos. All work and not play...looks like you guys combine both!
I love the fort. Everyone in the photo is having so much fun. Yeah, for fun!
Box forts - I remember those. Looks like fun!
Hey! This isn't at my alma mater, Turlock High School is it?! Sure hope it isn't at the competition, Pittman! Where my niece goes. Shame of the family.
No Jacob. This is in the rehearsal room of the music department at CSU Stanislaus where I work.
College kids. I should have known!
Monte Vista used to be rural. Even there. Liberty Market (owned by the Doo family, classmate Jack Doo among them) was the only show in that part of town on the Southeast corner of Geer and Monte Vista. I will be in town, you know, June 22-25 for my niece's baptism. Lisa and Vicci and I will therefore hope to make it a foursome if possible. You up for that?
