And the studio progresses

I took a series of pictures of the evolving ephemeric wasteland that was our front room just a week ago. I've gotten rid of quite a lot of just plain buried junk and added two large storage units. I also added a smaller glass front case and moved a small blue and white cabinet out of the bedroom. Tomorrow I'm picking up another glass front case. I love that cabinet and having two will make a nice bookend look for the sewing workstation. There is still a bit of this and that stacked around and you don't even want to see what is behind me as I take these pictures. But all that will be taken care of by next week and then I can actually start using my studio. At Last.

Perfect. White walls that can reflect color, like a soul.

Hooray! Your own space to do what you like, especially to create! xo

Isn't it lovely to finally get things organized? I applaud your focus and effort. And I can't wait to see what you make in your new space.

Annie I did "click to enlarge" and loved every little item. I studied every corner and every surface and yes the white is stunning and shows me a clean fresh pallet.

You are going to have lots of artistic fun in there, and we are going to see the results here I hope.

enjoy your summer day.

Hi Annie,
You've done such a great job with this space. Wish mine was moving along as nicely!
Lowe's called with yet another delay this AM.
This is becoming quite old!!
((hugs))

oh I am SO envious of this neat and orderly and well organized space. I HAVE to do this, I HAVE to just don the pith helmet, get out the pick axe and go to work on revamping my studio space!! This looks amazing!

NOW, how in the world did you do that photo to capture that full view? WOW!

XOXO
oh I was out when you called....no news on Cavemen vs dog front. seems his cell# has changed.

Annie,
If my studio were ever this clean even while evolving, I'd be the happiest girl in Indiana! It's beautiful and inspiring, maybe I'll get moved into my new studio...someday!!

Lisa, I use Microsoft photo software. It has a photostitch project option that connects with another piece of softward called Picture IT. I just discovered it last week during MaryEllen's challenge. My picture life has not been the same since. Yay!!

Geri, the key to keeping order while clean is toss as you go. I worked until 2 a.m. last night on the part of the room you could not see. I'll have that finished in a couple of days (I hope)

evidently you have inspired me also, as I've been on a tear and tossing like crazy. I'm just doing the dinning/office space now. I'm half way through that one and it looks sooooooooo much better. A bit under the weather with a bug, so taking it easy and going through files, but have done sacks and sacks of stuff--I need to stop for a while as the garbage only will take 6 at a time, but I'm getting rid of clutter. I love it!
