Winter Heart

Sensation in heart
So desirous, pain squeezes
A moment, freezing time.

Choking sensation
Releases emotional
Reply to spirit.

In the quiet of
A frozen moment, answers
Salute saying "act".

Happy Birthday from me too,
Great poem, love the dynamic ending, takes time to sink in like all good poems.

I really enjoyed the "how slowly would I like to live my life" one too, I'm right with you there.

Thank you for you lovely comments at the Hearthtalks blog. Bet you won't even have to wait until you are in Oregon to find heartshaped rocks. They are every where...you just have to be looking for them and in no time they will appear. I promise. Believe!

I'm reading this on Thanksgiving Day, as one of the things I'm thankful for is being able to read your poetry. Blessings, Annieelf, herself!
