I've been thinking of you Annie.Blessings are sent your way.
Excellent, Anne, excellent.
Beauty and pain always close friends.
This looks like your family must be feeling. I'm so glad you are home and safe and keeping you in my prayers.
Thanks to all. Just be to clear, this is the actual cemetary where George has been laid to rest. His family home is on the hill above the cemetary. You can see the road that climbs up the hill to their house in the upper left of the picture. It is an incredibly beautiful and peaceful place.
Beautiful haiku. Sorry to hear of your family's loss.
oh so beautiful, both photo and words
Both beautiful words and photo. I've been thinking of you!

Don't let frost take hold of your heart.I am glad you are able to create some beauty out of that sorrow.
Beautiful. The image of the newish barns with the very old stones is compelling and rally complements your poem.
