I'm in love with the Canada Goose this season. They are such a welcome sight flying over the house in flocks from the fields around to the last bits of open water and is there anything to match the cry. This is indeed a wonderful picture!
the title is just perfect for these photos! when I looked at them, I really did feel a sense of peace... life is indeed wonderful xoox aren't we so blessed?
I too have posted my peacemakers! I saw the story on TV about those little miracles in your last post! It really frightens me to hear that now they are cloning cattle and selling meat in stores and we consumers will never know!! Why do humans play around with mother nature!! shaking my head NG
Duck, duck, goose! The Canada goose has become a problem here in Toronto. They are so comfortable here they don't fly anywhere in winter or summer. They are so comfortable with people and traffic, they nest on the side of busy roads. And the amount of p**p they produce is creating a health hazard in some areas. Too much of a good thing I think.
I just read this today and it made me think of your lovely visual post: 'I have always wondered why it feels so good to interact w/animals, why it feels comforting to know that they are waiting for us at home or that they are 'out there' in nature.' (Mac Bekoff) thanks for sharing!

A perfect title for these photos, Annie. Btw, what is a RAK?
RAK - Random Act of Kindness, Susanna.

Lovely, birds are one of the most splendid things. You must have excellent reflexes to catch them that quickly in such lovely poses!
So nice to see some photos from a nice, snow-less place, but not too tropical as to seem unreal.
