Haiku My Heart - Darkness Fades

Worry and bad luck
Errors of the past beckon
Anxiety grips

When? Why? How? What now?
Information overlooked
Resignation grips

Patience and faith
Inspiration takes a hold
Expectation grips

Insecurity
Morning light diminishes
Tension relaxes

Yeah, I am. Thanks, Ginny. There should be a statute of limitation on life's curve balls. Health issues, sure. I get that. But longevity equals payment of some dues and a lack of needing to be on one's toes.

fear is such a difficult emotion...it is something we all live with/through from time to time...but like everything, it is temporary, and will give you breathing room again.

Focus on all of the good things. Don't give the negative any thought. All shall be well.

This was a pretty intense piece until the very last line, at which point I felt a breath of hope.

Annie, answering your question: No,I am not receiving your emails. I will try to fix that. I think I need to install a default mail. Oh, sigh, being tekkie challenged is not fun. I cannot even link to email from peoples blogs because of that so I dont have your email address to respond or to put it in my address book. I will try to fix today. Thanks for the heads up.

dear annie,
it really is all about the light. the light that forever shines regardless of our state of mind or heavy heart.
i try to remind myself in dark moments the although i may feel alone, troubled, afraid, the light is always there ready to engulf me and lift me up.

i love the title of your haiku as it is filled with this awareness. and your banner photo shows me you are a seeker of beauty and light. thank you for sharing yours.
