Taking a Big Step

After 40 plus years of owning some limited edition prints, I'm finally at a point where I'm ready to divest and sell/auction.  I've made some queries and now it's a waiting game.

Bear and Cub is by Colorado artist, D. Noel Smith

The Stagecoach is by Oleg Stavrowsky, orignally from Harlem, NY

El Solitario by California artist and Peruvian Emigre Guillermo Acevedo

The Butterfly also by G. Acevedo

I've never done anything like this before and am just feeling my way along.  Wish me luck.

I hope you sell them! Did you find an auction house?

I found one not too far from me Ginny. It's in the very small town of La Grand. Mostly horse ranches and farms. Hewlett's auctions just about everything so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this will be a good resource for me.

They're lovely, Annie. I'm sure you will find just the right owner who will give them a good home. But sometimes parting IS such sweet sorrow.

Good luck on selling, they are nice prints so someone out there is going to like them.

They are interesting, particularly the stage-coach one.
I like that the U.S. and Australia had a 'conquering the wild frontier' in common, of which the stage coach played such an important part in both countries, through wild and rocky terrain.
