How interesting Annie. I read some last night but forgot to comment. Glad I came back and saw these photos of the past. Really cool.
oooh sweet. I love vintage clothes there is just something about them... I know not what :)

Nothing slapdash about garment construction back then--elegant in simplicity or in detail.
I've never had knitted or crocheted hand things as a baby, but my mom made all of my clothes during World War II and beyond. She was fast too! Isn't it fun to see the old timey things?
Very lovely. So girlie, aren't they?
Annie: Go see my blog. I posted the email you said I should share with the world. Interesting how your Part II below is a step I took too. I considered it lightening my load. Life treasures are to be valued. It it is not a treasure - get rid of it.Hugs,Maryellen
What a beautiful post Annie.....I have similar dresses from the past...they are priceless....XXOO
I just came over from Carmen's to say congratulations on your award that she gifted you with...I enjoy your blog and these sweet baby dresses and caps!:)
You are doing an inspiring job of upacking and sorting and sharing your past! The baby clothes are so sweet (and clean!!!)
What amazing treasures of the past. You are on a path of such rediscovery it's very impressive. You seem very methodical in your approach to weaving all of these threads. I truly believe it will all come together cohesively and you will be in a very calm state of mind. Your introspection is not only within the space of your home...but within past and present that is leading you to the best possible future. I hope that made sense.XOXO
These are so lovely and precious - how wonderful to have them with you! xo
