Unpacking my past revealed these pretty dresses that my mom wore as a baby. I hand washed them today and pressed them. Sprayed them with some Fabreeze and voila!, fresh and like new.

Nothing slapdash about garment construction back then--elegant in simplicity or in detail.
I've never had knitted or crocheted hand things as a baby, but my mom made all of my clothes during World War II and beyond. She was fast too! Isn't it fun to see the old timey things?

What amazing treasures of the past. You are on a path of such rediscovery it's very impressive. You seem very methodical in your approach to weaving all of these threads. I truly believe it will all come together cohesively and you will be in a very calm state of mind.
