Poetry Thursday - Seeking Feedback

On this Poetry Thursday, I am hoping that some of you will click Here and review the information about this class I'm thinking of taking. I have been looking around for workshops and seminars and today this literally fell into my lap. The class is being sponsored by the Continuing Education office of the university at which I work.

Why are you still thinking ... your writing has been drawing this opportunity closer and closer, it's here now ..... so grab it - but just make sure you let us read what you create in class ....haven't you been playing our song lol *!*

Hi Annie!
I think anytime you can learn something, it's great! It's also important to remember to take what is good and leave off with the not-so-good. You will probably learn a lot but you will probably already know a lot too, and you may even have a lot to contribute to the class as well...
It sounds well organized and if the time works out for you and you feel inspired, I'd say go fo it!

K, Annie, and Regina - thanks for the feedback. I am thinking that I am going to sign up for it.

Regina, thanks for reminding me to use what works and not to worry about the rest.

Annie, yes, why AM I still thinking about this? Running to our song right now.

Hi Annieelf! I agree with the others that the class sounds interesting. Every class and teacher will have a different style and approach -- this teacher sounds pretty good. And meeting people in the class could be fun too. I've thought of taking a class too.

Looks good! I've never taken a workshop, online or off, that didn't bring something new to the process. I try to take one a year.

Annie,

At first, reading the course description, I was quite apprehensive, as it sounded quite structured, rigid and even old fashioned. But when I read the comments from participants in her other classes, I decided you would probably like her and have a good and productive time taking the class. Looks like you've already made up your mind but I had to add my two cents anyway!

XOXO

I think I'd just do it! Doing is so much better than thinking one way or the other. Doing and before you know it is done.

Hi Mary, Yes, I've decided to jump right in and make a really big splash. Hope the water is warm and friendly. Hah, there I go again letting my doubts plague me and chime in. Oh well. I'll write a poem about them. Won't be flattering.
