No, Ginny. They were some sort of rayon blend. Very pretty and affordable. Silk would have been impossible for me to afford. I'm going back to Berkeley in the Spring to shop 4th Street and visit this shop in particular.
Something to look forward to, to return to the shop. I like your travels Annie - I was an Australian tourist in Berkeley over thirty years ago - most of my memories there have faded by now! I remember buying souvenirs from the Berkeley campus. Is that the Berkeley you mean?

An inspiring, gentle haiku!
These are beautiful, are they silks?

Love that last line.
Wonderful haiku on Angels. Thank you for visiting and sharing on Carpe Diem.
I love angels, God's kind servants, friends and guardsmen wherever I go.
Wings as plentiful and rich as my angels, and your haiku uplifting.
Your haiku and image are so lovely and inspiring. Sweet arrangement of fabrics, reminds me of a butterfly wing close-up. :)
Lovely haiku created gentle images for me. Angels are there for sure!
