Sunday Scribble - Deepest, Darkest

I don't go there
There is nothing there I want to visit.
Nothingness won't come alive - if
I don't go there.

And yet, I'm drawn into it.

What an interesting photo. Your poem goes well with it. Visting deep and dark secrets isn't any fun.

Late (for me) comes the wisdom to see that it is 'nothingness' that postures so persuasively. Like Colleen, I am drawn into your tunnel image. Nice find by the way.

The long dark tunnel, a perfect place for ghost stories.

I wouldn't want to enter that dark, forbidding place - at least not without a powerful torch!

Hmm... I wouldn't go there either...

This is a unique picture and I love your Haiku. You are just so good at them.

I went there but left quickly ;) XXOO

Beautiful music too!

Loved how you used the words and the image. I was too afraid to write about the deepest, darkest but I wish I'd thought of writing a haiku.

I liked this negation of the prompt...and love the haiku.

Many places are best left unvisited. Excellent match, picture and poem.

AnnieElf,
I enter there-in
With fearful trepidation.
Hark, light at the end!

How true that most of our deepest, darkest selves is steeped in denial. Poignant thought.

Bad memories, depression, sad thoughts - or just a dark tunnel - you expressed it well, and I enjoyed pondering it.

Ah, a wonderful take on the prompt. And the picture is perfect.

True. But sometimes it's good to explore what we keep 'there'.

Awesome..
The photo's a perfect complement. The black nothingness is magnetic.

Very efficient. Succinct and... wham! Goes with the picture like crazy.
